For a girl who was previously gun-shy about wearing yellow, you’d probably never know it. After this post, the internet was far too kind to me in support of the look and I realized…perhaps yellow is a color my wardrobe has been missing out on all these years?! So when I needed a little floral print to start to making its way into my wardrobe to transition into spring looks, this Old Navy gem caught my eye. And would you guess what…
Every time I’ve worn this bright flowy number, I always receive the sweetest of compliments! So naturally, all that to be said, I decided this blouse needed to make its way onto the blog! I absolutely love the feminine little details, the pops of bright blue, and how it instantly feels like spring has sprung (even when you shoot photos with it on and it’s windy and frigid and it had just rained…) when you put it on!
I think what I love most about this top is that it could certainly be woven into your winter wardrobe right now. Yes, I’m wearing white denim with it and shamelessly pretending like it’s a balmy 75 degrees out, but you could absolutely pair it with a darker wash. Throw a faux fur or quilted vest on to keep warm with it! Or perhaps you could rock it with a classic trench coat and Hunter wellies?! I’m telling y’all… there are always options on options when it comes to a good floral print! #putthatonaneedlepoint
I may or may not have done a little damage from working on this post, and I’m super excited to have it arrive this week and start styling a few pieces to show on this little blog of mine! I also have a few other exciting things on my plate this week ahead, so I look forward to sharing those on here, too!
Wishing y’all a great start to your weeks! Thanks for saying ‘hi’ here today!
