Happy Monday, Happy May! And Happy Birthday Month to me!????? ? If you remember this post, you know I proclaimed my love for the off the shoulder trend this spring & summer. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect selection for a good price. I am no stranger to a good bargain buy and I’m constantly on the hunt to find trendy pieces at super affordable prices. So where did I head to begin the search? Old Navy.
I lovee Old Navy, y’all. Like can’t go in there without wanting to buy everything love. It’s so affordable, right on trend, and did NOT disappoint me in the off the shoulder search. This dress is everything that I wanted: a soft and comfortable chambray fabric, tie waist to show off my shape, long enough so I wouldn’t be showing off too much leg, flowy without just hanging on my body and… a killer price.
I couldn’t wait to put this little one on and our spontaneous Napa trip this past Friday seemed like the perfect time. I’ve also been in love with this hot hot hot pink lipstick lately. I’ve also admitted that I’ve gone off the deep end obsessed with Ulta and this L’Oreal lipstick made it’s way home with me recently. The color is ‘Fuchsia Amnesia’ and it’s life changing for this pink obsessed lady. It’s SO bright and pigmented – a pigment so strong I haven’t even been able to find in even high-end brands – plus, it’s under $10. So to pair it with some hot pink earrings I already owned and a little self-blow out? I was feeling fine, fresh & fierce. Amazing how pink lips and a new dress will do that to a lady, isn’t it??
If I could wear this exact outfit for the spring and summer season straight, I would. It’s such a ‘me’ outfit and I feel like I could sport it for a handful of occasions: wine tasting, a summer BBQ, a friend’s birthday party, brunch… endless options. And you can best believe this lipstick will be on repeat, too.
Enjoy your Monday as much as possible, sweet readers! And if it turns out to be a doozy, treating yourself to this dress or a new lip color always helps in my book!
