You know the feeling you get when you put away all your Christmas decor after the first of the year and everything feels so empty?
Well, I happen to love that feeling! Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the Christmas season and all the decor that comes with it AND I cherished our post-Christmas vacation, but I was simultaneously eager to get home and get the Christmas decor put away until next year. Perhaps it’s because we live in 1,000 square feet… or maybe it’s just because I’ve become more of a lover of minimalist style lately…. but I truly love the fresh, blank slate that comes with January.
I’ve collected these images that have been inspiring me with my recent home decor refreshes…. of which I’m excited to reveal here soon! Until then, enjoy some fresh eye candy…
More fresh inspiration on my radar?
Those last 3 images are from Holy City Chic’s Living Room Tour which is pure minimalist perfection! You’ll also spot Mark D. Sike’s ‘Beautiful’ book which has been on my wishlist since it launched and I just finally purchased it with a Christmas gift card! I’ve been flipping through it and taking notes since the moment it arrived! And finally… have y’all seen the movie ‘Home Again’ with Reese Witherspoon? It had been on my ‘watch list’ and we finally rented it a few nights ago. I have to be honest, I didn’t love the plot/storyline of the movie. However…. the HOUSE it is filmed in is ultimate home decor inspo! This has to do with the fact that Nancy Myers produced it and all of her movies are interior design #GOALS. Also fun fact? Mark D. Sikes had a hand in some of the set inspiration and if you watch closely… you’ll spot his ‘Beautiful’ book in there a time or two as well!
